The Grace Difference

Academics

We delight in inviting children to see God's handiwork in everything around us whether it is exploring colors and numbers, studying history, learning math and science or appreciating the arts.

Athletics

With over 23 different sports, there is an opportunity for each of our students. Life lessons are sometimes more easily taught on the playing field than in the classroom.

Arts

Whether it be through expression on a canvas, performing on stage, playing an instrument, or creating a film, we aim to develop students who celebrate God through the world of art.

Activities

Extracurricular activities at Grace provide a unique opportunity for students to explore an interest outside the classroom environment.

Grace Prioritizes Teacher Development

This past November, the faculty and staff at Grace School gathered for an in-service day where Dr. Jordan Morton, Dean and Associate Professor at the Master's University, led them through important topics relevant to teachers and the classroom of today. Of  highest priority for Christian schools is being able to define what it means to have a Biblical worldview and then how it is specifically implemented in each and every subject. We discussed other current topics such as AI and Social Media and the best practices concerning both.

Before the Christmas break, student leaders at the Jr/Sr High, delivered hand-made Christmas cards and gifts to all our neighbors surrounding the campus. Led by Dean of Student Life, Matt Simms, several students jumped in the car or walked the sidewalks to spread a message of thanks and gratitude to our neighbors for their kindness and support of our school. Mr. Simms said, "It can't always be easy being the neighbor of a busy, bustling campus," but we always want to be mindful of our neighbors and be as friendly as we can be. We are grateful for the example of servant heartedness that Mr. Simms demonstrates to our student body.

"We wish you a Merry Christmas" was the message Grace Preschoolers brought to the staff of Simi Hospital, a neighbor of our Preschool Campus. The children dressed in their most festive Christmas attire and walked single file across the street with their teachers and parents to line up and sing Christmas Caroles to a large crowd, filling the lobby of the hospital reception area upstairs and downstairs.
