Admissions Events Season Opens with Ninth Grader for a Day!

Admissions events season officially opened last week with ninth grader for a day!  Grace's Jr/Sr High staff and students welcomed over 60 local eighth graders from several area schools for a full and fun day of tours, games, worship, information, lunch and goodies. Student leadership lead the visitors through four, 20 minute blocks including Performing Arts, Athletics, Spanish and Science.

One visitor said his favorite part of the day was "sports on the field with Mr. Vince," while another student enjoyed the Fine Arts demonstration with Mrs. Ebenhoch.  One student, who did not know anyone at the beginning of the day, reported that he had such a great time and that our staff and "especially the student leadership were all so friendly and helpful" that it made him want to come back for an individual shadow day!

Student testimonials painted a vivid portrait to the visitors of what life looks like as a Grace student. Both Zach Grauch and Ava Maloney reported how the staff truly cares and desires to help one mature in all areas. Of transferring from a public school to Grace in seventh grade, Ava said it was shocking when her teacher opened in prayer!  This was a pleasant and welcome change for her and an aspect of Grace School that has meant the most to her.

We love to host visitors and provide a glimpse into what makes Grace school a special place and an excellent choice for families. If you are interested in learning more, head on over to our EVENTS page in the admissions tab for several opportunities to Get to Know Grace.

K-1 Celebrates the Resurrection

A beloved annual tradition, our K-1 students hiked to the cross on Mt. McCoy today to celebrate Jesus' death and resurrection. Pastor Danny Lee spoke to the students about the significance of Easter. The students also participated in singing worship songs and recited Mark 16:6, "And he said to them, 'Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has risen; he is not here. See the place where they laid him.'"
