Basketball Season begins at Grace!
Grace School's Varsity Basketball season began this week led by Head Coach, Josh Merril, who comes to Grace from Shepherd Church in Porter Ranch where he serves as Sports Pastor, Club Director and Coach.
Of his team, Coach Merrill says, "Although young, this team has been putting in the work and it showed in our first game. Standouts included Owen Spencer with his record breaking 12 steals and both Riley Williams and Aaroon Zainti dropped 16 points a piece." For a list of all the games this season, check out the athletics calendar here. Come out and cheer on the Lancers!

It seems like our world is constantly pushing children to grow up faster. But at Grace School, we've taken a different approach. We see childhood as a precious time to be guarded and preserved. This is especially important during the critical transition of the preteens and early teen years. For that reason, we see sixth grade as a special opportunity... a time to prepare our students for the changes ahead.

We want to pursue winning, but at Grace we instill that ultimate success comes by glorifying God through our behavior, attitude, and work ethic.
A few weeks ago, we had the joy of celebrating our preschool graduates as they prepare to take the exciting leap into Kindergarten this fall. It is bittersweet for me to say goodbye to these kiddos but I am immensely proud of all they have accomplished; their growth, resilience, and accomplishments throughout the year have been truly inspiring. It is with confidence that we send them on to their way to elemenatary school.
