Grace Elementary remembers 9/11 each year with a moving and well-attended event.  Our Principal, Dustin Marvin had this to say: "Showing our students a tangible idea of service on this side of eternity is a great way to educate our students and honor our first responders, doctors, nurses, and military. Ultimately, we want our students to see these servants as an example of the ultimate servant, Jesus Christ. We look to the example of Christ in Matthew 20:26-28, which says, 'It shall not be so among you. But whoever would be first among you must be your servant, and whoever would be first among you must be your slave, even as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.' We are blessed to have so many families in our community who serve us in these capacities every day."

Head of School Reflects on the Success of Transforming Grace

Last Friday, April 17, over 240 people came together at Grace Church for “Transforming Grace.” The night is designed to showcase to our families the rich history and God’s faithfulness at Grace while also raising money to refresh our campuses. The night was an incredible success on all fronts, showcasing our school and raising $150,000! A huge thank you to our sponsors and the amazing people who came that evening. I thoroughly enjoyed moving around the room, talking to so many great people, and observing our Grace families fellowshipping together around the common cause of our school.
