K-1 Celebrates the Resurrection
A beloved annual tradition, our K-1 students hiked to the cross on Mt. McCoy today to celebrate Jesus' death and resurrection. Pastor Danny Lee spoke to the students about the significance of Easter and why the cross is a symbol of hope for all believers. The students also participated in singing worship songs and recited their memory verse of the week, Mark 16:6, "And he said to them, 'Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has risen; he is not here. See the place where they laid him.'"
