Lancers Football and Quarterback, Ethan LaSecla are making headlines this season on MaxPreps! Last weekend's win against Ridgeview proved a nail-biter as fans watched the Lancers fight back to win 21-22. LaSecla rushed for 248 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 11.3 yards per carry, and also throwing for 81 yards and a touchdown. Grace elementary competitive flag football team recently won a 32-0 victory over Bethany Christian in the Tri Valley Christian Athletic League. Our high school varsity football players came over to "break the huddle" and congratulate their fellow school-mates on their victory. Their show of support was a great encouragement to the elementary team. At Grace, we value our family atmostphere and relish in the opportunites to come together as one school.

Grace Elementary remembers 9/11 each year with a moving and well-attended event. Our Principal, Dustin Marvin had this to say: "Showing our students a tangible idea of service on this side of eternity is a great way to educate our students and honor our first responders, doctors, nurses, and military. Ultimately, we want our students to see these servants as an example of the ultimate servant, Jesus Christ. We look to the example of Christ in Matthew 20:26-28, which says, 'It shall not be so among you. But whoever would be first among you must be your servant, and whoever would be first among you must be your slave, even as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.' We are blessed to have so many families in our community who serve us in these capacities every day."
