Preschool Sings for Simi Hospital!

"We wish you a Merry Christmas" was the message Grace Preschoolers brought to the staff of Simi Hospital, a neighbor of our Preschool Campus. The children dressed in their most festive Christmas attire and walked single file across the street with their teachers and parents to line up and sing Christmas Caroles to a large crowd, filling the lobby of the hospital reception area upstairs and downstairs. This tradition has been well received by Simi Hospital staff who told us that they look forward to the children coming to sing every year. This was evident by the number of nurses and doctors who stopped what they were doing to hear our students sing. At Grace School, we teach our students the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the mandate believers have to "go into all the world" to share this Good News. Christmas time is a wonderful time to practice this mandate and to serve our special neighbors at Simi Hospital.

The students also participated in singing worship songs and recited Mark 16:6, "And he said to them, 'Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has risen; he is not here. See the place where they laid him.'"
