Last April, we shared the story of Elsie Davenport, a student at Grace Elementary who was inspired to continue her teacher's legacy of generous support for Children's Hunger Fund, a Christian ministry dedicated to "delivering hope to suffering children by equipping local churches for gospel-centered mercy ministry." Now, the story has been featured on the Children's Hunger Fund website.

At Grace School, we believe one of the many blessings of Christian education is having teachers who educate the whole student--not just teaching minds, but training hearts as well. At Grace, we purposefully teach our students to be Grounded in Truth, Rooted in Christ, Apt to Lead, Clear in Communication, and Equipped as Citizens. These student outcomes are what drive our programs, and clubs are one important avenue we use to help our students develop in these areas while forming lifelong friendships along the way.
We attended club rush on the Jr/Sr High Campus and asked the students who are leading a club this year, "Why join a club?" The following are the top 5 benefits they cited:

In a recent address to Grace School parents, head of school, Matt Cooper, discussed the theme of the 26/27 school year.
"Our theme for this year is RESILIENT, and our theme verse is from James 1:12:
'Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.'
