No Such Thing as a Neutral Worldview

Have you ever considered that every school and every teacher instructs from a particular perspective? There is no such thing as a completely neutral worldview. Every educational institution teaches a foundational set of values and beliefs that shape how students understand the world. At Grace, we intentionally teach from a biblical worldview. Our goal is to guide students through the lens of Scripture, helping them understand God’s truth across every area of learning.

During a recent conference, Jeff Keaton made a thought-provoking statement: “When God is never connected to English, Math, Science, History, Spanish, and other subjects, your student will become a secularist.” This principle resonates deeply with us at Grace. We believe education should acknowledge the Creator in every discipline, providing students with a holistic understanding that recognizes God’s hand in all truth.

Consider this: would you choose a school that taught America lost World War II, denied the existence of gravity, claimed turtles are faster than cheetahs, or insisted that 2 + 2 = 7? Most people would quickly reject such ideas because they contradict reality. Yet many educational environments promote perspectives that conflict with biblical teachings—such as questioning the authority of Scripture, denying God as Creator, or presenting moral and identity beliefs that differ from a biblical worldview. This raises an important question: how much misinformation or conflicting truth should students be expected to navigate during their education?

At Grace, we are committed to providing an education grounded in the unchanging truth of God’s Word. We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with parents in the education of their children and in helping shape a biblical worldview.
