Extended Care & Camps
Grace School is jumping all day long. Depending on the campus, your student has the opportunity to play, learn and study after the end-of-day bell rings.
Extended Care
Elementary Extended Care
Grace Elementary provides an Extended Care Program for our working parents who desire a secure, fun environment in which to place their children. It also can provide a safety net for all parents in the event of an emergency that might prevent them from picking up their children at the end of the school day. Our Extended Care Program begins immediately after school so there is never any time that your student is not supervised. Our staff is comprised of people who love both the children and the Lord. While your student is in Extended Care they can take part in a variety of activities led by our staff, including playground time, as well as have study time in the afternoon where students can complete their homework while they are still in Extended Care. In the afternoon snacks are offered to students.
Hours:
The school provides extended care supervision on campus from 6:30 a.m. until the start of school, but there is no charge for students arriving after 7:45 AM. Then extended care continues from 3:15 PM to 6:00 PM Students are not to be on campus before 7:45 AM without checking into Extended Care. Students must go to, and stay with, where the daycare supervision is located. This is for your child’s safety. Students found on campus or on the sidewalks around campus without adult supervision before 7:45 AM will be checked into extended care and charged from 6:30 AM to 7:45 AM. We do not bear the liability for students not properly checked into extended care. Parents are responsible for checking in on their students.
Extended Care Rates:
$9.00 per hour - billed on tuition statement
NOTE: If your student participates in paid extracurricular activities, you are not charged extended care for the time the student is participating in the extracurricular activity. However, extended care before and after the extracurricular activity is billable.
Camps
Elementary Summer Camp
Elementary Camp Champion
Grace Elementary offers a fun and safe summer camp for elementary-age students. Students from non-Grace schools are welcome. Camp Champion runs from early June through early August. The camp provides opportunities to take part in age-appropriate, engaging activities with friends. The activities are seasonally relevant and can include trips to swimming pools and other water activities. While at Camp Champion, children have the opportunities to participate in active sports and games, hands-on science activities, water play, creative arts and crafts, and other activities. Several off-campus field trips occur during the camp.
Camp Champion is a full-day summer program from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM although extended care hours are available to families that need it from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM and 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Our staff is comprised of people who love both the children and the Lord. Camp Champion is open to all families in the community and not just Grace families.
Registration can be found for school families in the Lancer Beat and will be open to the public soon for Summer 2024.

Elementary Holiday Break Camps
Elementary Holiday Break Camps
Over our longer holiday times throughout the year, we run a camp for working families or if you want your child involved in fun, daily activities. Our holiday camps run over Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Spring breaks. During these camps, students will have daily fun activities both on and off of the school campus.
In the past, students went to Scooter's Jungle and bowling while having an on-campus animal encounter and science experiments just to name a couple of items.
Preschool Summer Program
Each year we offer a summer program at the preschool. Over the years themes have included Story Land Express, The Deep Blue Sea, All Around the World, and Under the Big Top. Each week there is a literature focus related to the theme, as well as a character trait that we emphasize to the children. Each day has a special activity, and ALL of our special events are on-site.
Sample weekly schedule:
STEM Project Day: Each class explores the theme through a STEM project.
Cooking Day: The children enjoy a tasty treat to enjoy during class.
Art Day: Using various art mediums, the students create works of art.
Special Event Day: We are joined by a guest speaker, or provide a special on-site activity.
Splash Day: Children bring their suits and towels and engage in water play activities.
