Campus Worship

Each week the children participate in chapel.  Our age-appropriate chapel includes a time of worship, singing familiar songs that typically involve hand motions or movements. Worship is then followed by a short story or lesson, reinforcing Biblical concepts and character development. Following the lesson awards are given to students recognizing positive behavior and godly character. Chapels are led by the school staff and pastors from Grace Church of Simi Valley.

Chapel is one of the most exciting times on our campus. We gather together as a group every Wednesday. It is a dedicated time to sing worship songs and hear and learn from God’s word. We have local pastors from the community who come and teach us more about Christ.  During special months we will partner with organizations like Children's Hunger Fund and Operation Christmas Child. 

Spiritual Life
The Spiritual Life on Grace's Jr/Sr High campus is multi-faceted with both formal programs and informal student-teacher relationships. The programs we have created provide the structure and opportunities needed to develop discipleship relationships between faculty and students. If you visit our campus or talk to our students, you will frequently hear about the wonderful personal relationships that have developed with our staff. We believe these relationships are essential to the development of students and the strength of our school.

Chapel
Believing that participation in worship is essential to spiritual growth, we have made it a priority to set aside time every week for chapel. Worship is demonstrating worth to God through music, singing, sharing, and learning from the Word of God. We labor to have our worship conform to the principles laid out in John 4, namely that worship must be done in “spirit and truth.” We are committed to Christ-Centered applicable worship which encourages students to pursue Christ.

Active Life
A student's life at Grace Junior/Senior High School is full of opportunity, engagement, and growth. With over 400 students in six grade levels, there exists a myriad of opportunities for students to experience. The size of the student body provides a breadth of options in which students can participate and grow while allowing staff to build into the lives of our students. It is our goal to offer activities that allow students to deepen their relationship with Christ while enjoying his blessings of fellowship and learning.
