At Grace, we believe learning happens best in a well prepared and structured environment. A large part of that environment is our students and how they dress while on campus and at school events. Students know that they are in a distinct place and dress accordingly while also upholding Biblical standards of modesty and appropriateness.  As such, we have developed specific standards for dress and grooming while students are at school functions. 

Grace school bases its dress code upon two criteria: 

1. Biblical standards of modesty (1 Timothy 2:9, Romans 12:1).
2. The desire for a neat, clean and attractive appearance, being courteous of our neighbors while avoiding extremes (Mark 12:31).

1. Children need to come to school dressed in comfortable clothing that is okay to get soiled.
2. Children should wear closed-toed and closed-heeled shoes or tennis shoes at all times.
3. Girls need to wear shorts under their dresses for climbing and playing.
4. Elastic waist bands and snaps are preferred for shorts and pants.
5. Items that depict scary or violent scenes will not be allowed.

Grace school has a uniform dress code for its Kindergarten through 12th grade students.
