Grace Soccer Coach WINS 200th Game

Coach Vince Allegra has just won his 200th game at Grace High School! He has coached at Grace since 2006 and has been the head coach of the girls varsity soccer team since 2008.

This is an astounding statistic! But additionally, Coach Vince has won 2 CIF championships and appeared in the state regional finals twice. His success on the Grace soccer field yields much fruit even after his players leave high school. Many of his athletes have graduated from Grace to play at schools like Liberty University, Master's University, Grand Canyon University, Notre Dame, and Point Loma, just to name a few. Their ability to play at the college level can be attributed to Coach's excellence in developing his players' skills while they are under his leadership.

But to Coach Vince, the growth, development and character of the girls is far more important than any on-field victory or CIF championship. He will always tell you that he has enjoyed coaching the teams that have struggled just as much as the teams who have the most wins. Investing in his players' lives and helping them grow in Christ is the most important part of his coaching.

On behalf of Grace School, we would like to thank you, Coach Vince, for your excellent leadership and coaching skills for all these years which has yielded much fruit on the field and in heaven.
