The Graduating Class of 2026: Impressive in Every Way

Congratulations to class of 2026! This year Grace High School graduated 59 seniors with 10 of them earning the title of AP Scholar! Valedictorian, John Grauch, is a National Merit Finalist and is the only member of the class of 2026 in all of Simi Valley to earn this prestigious recognition from the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. John will be attending UCLA in the fall. Salutatorian, Madeline Lamp, will attend Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo. The list of colleges and universities that this class has been accepted to, as well as the list of accomplishments achieved during their high school tenure, is impressive.

This year, 21 seniors participated in the Fine Arts Department's production of The Sount of Music, and senior Ava Maloney was nominated for The Jerry Herman Awards for her portrayal of Maria. Not only were our seniors academically and artistically gifted, but they were successful athletically as well. Five of our seniors have committed to play sports in college after having qualified for CIF playoffs in football, golf, basketball, softball, lacrosse, and baseball with our girls' soccer team reaching the semi-finals. Five of our seniors earned first team All-CIF recognition.

We are very proud of all their hard work and dedication which is what it takes to succeed in all these areas, but what we are most thankful for is the fruit of their faith as evidenced by their choices, behaviors, character, and lifestyle. Matt Cooper, Head of School, states, "What I am most proud of and what gives me the most confidence in their future is the biblical foundation that was laid during their time at Grace and how so many of them give God the glory. We send them off fully prepared and ready for the next steps in their lives."
